About

Clare Pentelow

I’m a registered social worker and a registered psychotherapist. I have extensive experience working in the mental health field in both hospital and community settings, including the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and KW Counselling. I have been  providing counselling in a private practice setting for over five years and am passionate about supporting individuals in their therapeutic process.  I continue to be inspired by the transformations I see and am honoured that my clients have allowed me to walk alongside them in their healing journeys.

Education

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Psychology, from the University of Guelph (2005) and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto (2009). I continuously engage in professional development courses in the area of psychotherapy and have completed trainings in Emotion Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Gestalt, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness.
